Miel Krutzmann

Miel Krutzmann is a Dutch contemporary artist known for his striking and imaginative murals. Born and raised in Amsterdam, Miel developed a strong interest in art at a young age. His dedication became evident when, at the age of sixteen, he took classes at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, after which he continued his studies at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam.

Miel’s work is distinguished by a surrealistic visual language, in which hyperrealistic elements converge with abstract and imaginative motifs. His paintings often explore themes related to human emotion and operate at the intersection of reality and imagination. His eye for detail and powerful use of color make his work instantly recognizable and deeply compelling.

Although he became best known for his collaboration with Telmo under the name TelmoMiel, Miel is increasingly developing his own artistic voice. His solo work is often more introspective and personal, demonstrating his ability to depict complex narratives through a powerful visual language.

In addition to building the TelmoMiel body of work over the past fifteen years, Miel is now embarking on a second path to establish himself as an individual artist. His tireless dedication to his craft will undoubtedly lead to impressive new forms of contemporary art.
