Arturo

Arturo Parisius grew up in South America but trained as a photographic designer and multimedia director in Europe. As a visual artist, he has developed his own unique style. At first, Arturo (his stage name) painted with acrylics. Because he felt this medium imposed too many limitations on him, he broke new ground. He felt connected to the modern spirit of the times—or rather, to the “New Century.” The revolution toward a digital society has him in its grip.

Arturo used his extensive experience and knowledge of digital media to embark on a new path. With the help of a mouse and a computer screen, his works became increasingly conceptual, ranging from surrealist to abstract expressionist.

Although his art seems to roll right out of the computer and appear accessible to everyone, Arturo believes “that the tool only becomes an instrument in the hands of the master.” An age-old truth that he confirms. With his artistic talents, he infuses emotion into a medium that many consider lifeless. He breathes life into virtual reality, just as painters bring dead paint to life.
