Nico Vrielink

Nico Vrielink was born in the Netherlands in 1958. From a young age, he felt drawn to an artistic career. His parents enrolled him in the Academy of Fine Arts in Arendonk and later in the College of Visual Arts in Eindhoven. With his art degree in hand, he set off for the Far East—specifically Singapore—where he met Jeane. For those unfamiliar with her, Jeane is not only the mother of his sons but also his model. Nico Vrielink works according to the academic method, that is, from dark to light. Another theme particularly close to his heart is Eastern mysticism: a serene depiction of silence and the inner self. His works demonstrate precision and patience.
