Mieke de Vries

Mieke is a true jack-of-all-trades! and works very independently. She uses the blanket stitch to create all kinds of figures from scraps of felt. But Mieke also decorates tableware, wood, and other items. Decopatch is another technique she has mastered and applies to all kinds of figures. Her greatest talent is drawing and painting; her original fairy-tale characters, in particular, are rendered in great detail.
