Crail Moansburg

Crail Moansburg is an artists’ collective that works in a large screen-printing studio called the Karl Marx Factory. The constantly changing composition of artists results in the most original works. Each artist contributes a unique element to the whole, giving the works a story all their own. The style can be defined as street art and often features iconic images in a collage style.

Crail Moansburg works from the idea that art, above all, must be layered. The artworks reveal the sheer arbitrariness of consumer society, yet also express an admiration for times gone by. This results in fantastic artworks that combine retro photographs with vibrant colors. Crail Moansburg’s creative mind never stops, and he continues to produce surprising works!
