Ben Oldenhof

Ben Oldenhof is a versatile artist with an impressive body of work that ranges from ceramics and monumental metal sculptures to playful assemblages and expressive abstract paintings. After completing his studies at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, he developed a distinctive visual language centered on form, rhythm, and intuition.

His sculptures—often geometric, powerful, and architectural—are popular in both indoor and public spaces. Later, Oldenhof added his characteristic assemblages to his body of work, constructed from scrap materials that he joins together with metal wire to create new, surprising objects. These works exude creativity, sustainability, and a playful approach to form.

The Kunstuitleen.nl collection also features a series of abstract paintings by Oldenhof that convey a completely different energy. These canvases consist of dynamic splashes of paint and powerful brushstrokes, with color and gesture dancing freely across the surface. They bring life, rhythm, and spontaneity to any space and form an intriguing contrast to his sleek, sculptural work.

Whether you’re looking for a powerful sculptural statement or an expressive abstract work that makes your interior sparkle, Ben Oldenhof’s art always offers a unique addition to your space.
