Manuel Tysarzik

Photographer and artist Manolo Ty was born in Hagen, Germany. In 2006, he set off on a trip around the world, returning to Germany four years later with a completely different worldview. During his travels abroad, he worked as a photographer while studying economics at the Open University of Hagen. Manolo Ty is passionate about discovering and experiencing other cultures and environments firsthand. He has explored 87 different countries worldwide. His goal is to share his personal perceptions and experiences—which often stand in stark contrast to what one might expect—with the world. His ability to capture crucial moments and scenes, which often seem trivial, on film allows him to convey the soul of a country and the people who live there. In his work, he seeks the symbiosis between naturalness and aesthetics. The same applies to his portraits, which often focus on feminine beauty. In his fashion photography, strong contrasts and crisp, symmetrical compositions are his trademark. He is currently based in the German capital, Berlin.
