Hans Pieterse

If you ask Hans to describe himself, creativity, inventiveness, and craftsmanship are the first qualities that come to mind. And also a wealth of experience. His interest in photography began when he was 15 years old. At a car show featuring beautiful cars from the 1950s, he was struck by the beauty of their forms. That’s where he took his first photo. His older brother helped him develop his passion for photography. He had his own darkroom at a fairly young age, and by the time he was 16, he knew for sure: this would be his profession.

Hans Pieterse is based in Amsterdam and has a fully equipped, all-around creative photography studio. In this studio, various photography projects and disciplines—such as product photography, fine art photography, still lifes, and high-end photography—take shape. It is the photography studio where creative concepts are born or executed in collaboration with advertising agencies.
