Nissim Men (1960) was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, but has lived and worked in the Netherlands and Amsterdam since 1989. He studied photography at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem.

His specialty is creating “City Portraits”—digital photographic compositions that examine and explore the cultural and historical layers of a city. The result is a contemporary portrait of a city that captures its unique character.

These portraits are like a stroll through the city, viewed from different perspectives—both literally and figuratively.
