Ivo Sneeuw

While studying information technology, he loved spending his free time creating digital designs in Photoshop, Illustrator, and 3D Studio.

After working in IT for years, he got the chance to start a new career as a frame maker.

When he saw some images of an abandoned, dilapidated building for work, he fell in love with it immediately. “I have to try this too,” he thought right away. After his first attempt at a massive sanatorium in Germany, he was hooked. According to Ivo, finding and entering these kinds of—often dangerous—places is a real adventure. Visiting these places gives him a special feeling, and their history and decay tell stories that are both exciting and sad.

Through his photography, he tries to visualize that feeling and those stories.
