My work stands out for its use of color, and the shapes emerge from those colors—usually abstract and sometimes figurative. It consists of different layers, and each layer has its own process. In that process, I connect with what is there: the material, the artistic quality, the chance circumstances, my thoughts, feelings, and actions. It is a dynamic whole in which I experience great joy and freedom.
