About Inge Behling
Inge Behling lives and works alternately in Amsterdam and Jeantes in the French countryside. After completing her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts, she served as a guest lecturer at the HBK in Utrecht alongside her own artistic practice. The starting point for her work is always the strong abstraction of a realistic subject. It is a quest to explore the relationship between figuration and abstraction, culture and nature, and the interior and exterior.
