About Mascha Haring
These paintings were created from the perspective of a walker. During walks, a connection with the surroundings develops, and every place can take on a magical quality. Sometimes it’s the way light falls on a floor or wall, or the reflection in the pond behind the Tropenmuseum, which constantly blends different colors with the deep black. Traveling slowly, on foot, creates the opportunity to pause and notice the unexpected.
