Saskia Kuulkers (1957) is from Curaçao; her work is recognizable by the bright and bold colors she uses in her pieces (“Kuulkers blue”). She exhibits both domestically and internationally. Her very first exhibition took place at Jan des Boevrie. After attending the fashion academy “DE SCHANS,” she studied at the Rietveld Academy (1978–1982).
